Requirements

• 18+ years old
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1+ year of caregiving or related experience
• Valid driver’s license, insurance, and reliable transportation
• Smartphone required
• Ability to pass a state required background check
• CPR/First Aid/AED (or willing to obtain)

Nice To Haves

• Encourage exploration outside the home, keep in mind that client benefits from interaction with his pressure points, leg weights, weighted vest, swings, and chewies
• Specifically looking for someone to assist with his morning routine before therapy appointments.
• Best support is with One or Two step written directions, help him to access his food, Monitoring him at all times, keeping his iPad and cell phone out of sight when needed, consistency and follow through
• Would love someone who can go to the beach with the family and client from time to time on the weekends

Responsibilities

• Support daily routines (cooking, cleaning, personal care with the client)
• Help clients get into the community and stay engaged
• Follow care plans and goals
• Communicate with families and your team
• Complete notes and documentation
• Ensure safety and well-being at all times
