About The Position

Sevita is hiring an on-site Direct Support Professional in Pine Brook, New Jersey, at $19.71 per hour. The role supports people with developmental goals and helps them grow, learn, and live well. You’ll build meaningful relationships, encourage community participation and favorite activities, and assist with goals such as budgeting, exercise, and nutrition. You’ll also assist with personal hygiene and support individuals who may have behavioral challenges or other complex needs. No certification is required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Communication, adaptability, multitasking, teamwork, and time-management skills.
• Patient, compassionate, reliable, and responsible.
• Valid driver’s license and one year of driving history.
• No certification required.

Responsibilities

• Help participants grow, learn, and live well.
• Build meaningful relationships with the individuals served.
• Take initiative to help participants be part of the community and enjoy their favorite activities.
• Support developmental goals such as budgeting, exercise, and nutrition.
• Assist individuals with personal hygiene.
• Support individuals who may have behavioral challenges and other complex needs.
