About The Position
ARISE/Exceptional Family Resources is seeking a Direct Support Professional to work in the Liverpool area with a young man who requires assistance due to a physical/developmental delay. The family is looking for a dedicated staff to provide him with support and assist him with maintaining his independence at home. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to assisting with Personal Care, meal preparation and general independence. We are looking for an individual who is reliable, patient, energetic and enthusiastic. Prior experience a plus but not required. Reliable transportation and a HS diploma/GED are required. Background check, fingerprinting and DMV record check will be conducted prior to hire by the non-profit agency. Work hours include Monday through Friday, 7:00/9:30am – 11:00am-5:00PM (total hours 15 per week) with a payrate of 22.50 ARISE/EFR is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
Requirements
- Reliable transportation
- HS diploma/GED
- Valid driver's license
- Effective communication and organizational skills
- Flexibility with assignments and schedule
- Reliable transportation to arrive to job site at scheduled time
- Must have technology available to download multiple apps for use in the community and abide by ARISE/EFR'S technology policy
