About The Position

Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) at The Supported Living Group (SLG) assist individuals in their journey towards independence and personal growth. This role involves helping with household chores, driving to appointments, providing assistance with personal hygiene, and developing routines that promote independence and self-sufficiency. DSPs also teach essential life skills such as grocery shopping and budgeting, empowering individuals to navigate everyday life challenges. The position offers the opportunity to make a positive impact on someone's life and help them achieve their goals.

Requirements

• A desire to improve the quality of life for individuals with disabilities
• Excellent Communication
• Problem-Solving and flexibility
• A commitment to the health and wellbeing of others
• A high school education (or GED)
• Reliable transportation with a valid driver's license, insurance and registration
• Must be at least 18 years or older
• Must have a personal cell phone
