About The Position
Merakey is seeking PRN Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to join their team at their program in McKeesport, PA. This role is ideal for individuals with a strong desire to create long-term impacts on individuals' lives, enjoying encouraging, mentoring, and coaching others to achieve their goals. The DSP will spend their day in a variety of settings, making memories with individuals by following their Individual Support Plan, working on social and communication skills, and teaching daily living activities such as personal care, housekeeping, and laundry to foster independence and pride. The goal is to enhance independence by assisting with daily and personal activities.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age.
- Must have a Valid Driver's License.
- Must have own car.

Responsibilities
- Follow the Individuals Support Plan.
- Work on social and communication skills.
- Teach daily living activities, such as personal care, housekeeping, and laundry.
