The Direct Support Professional (DSP) provides support, supervision, and training to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a Community Training Home (CTH). The DSP helps individuals achieve independence, safety, and personal development in accordance with agency values and procedures. This is a part-time position with 12 hours per week, working Saturdays and Sundays from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm every other weekend. All new hires must complete 7 days of orientation (8:30 AM – 4:00 PM) prior to starting at a residential or day program site. This position is classified as Essential Personnel, meaning DSPs may be required to report to work in emergencies to ensure the health and safety of individuals receiving services.
