About The Position

Bittersweet Farms is seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) for a part-time, 3rd shift position (11pm–8:45am) to support individuals with autism. The role emphasizes making a positive impact and building skills while supporting individuals to live full, meaningful, independent lives. No prior experience is necessary, as paid training and ongoing support are provided. This role is ideal for students or new professionals in fields such as Psychology, disability studies, Nursing, healthcare, social work, Education, or human services, or anyone seeking a purpose-driven career focused on people.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• Valid Driver’s License (eligible for insurance)

Responsibilities

• Support individuals with autism to live more independently
• Encourage communication, choices, and confidence
• Help with daily living needs (like hygiene and routines)
• Create a positive, safe, empowering environment
• Document services clearly and on time
• Bring creativity, patience, and compassion to every shift
