This role involves providing services to intellectually and developmentally challenged adults in their homes and community, assisting them in participating in daily routines and recreational activities. Requirements
- A High School diploma or GED equivalent and be at least 18 years old.
- Relevant experience working with Individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities, behavioral challenges, dual diagnoses, or forensic involvement.
- A current driver’s license and California automobile insurance coverage for driving a personal vehicle to various community locations.
- Ability to read, write and speak English.

Responsibilities
- Assist Individuals with personal needs such as hygiene, changing clothes/adult briefs, and medication reminders.
- Help Individuals with social needs including meal preparation and cleaning.
- Engage with Individuals through exercise/movement, games, and transporting them to community activities.
- Keep accurate progress notes and communicate team information about Individuals' needs.
- Learn techniques to help Individuals have positive interactions and reach their goals.
- Participate in all required training, team, and company meetings.
- Take ownership of personal behaviors and help coach others in demonstrating company C.A.R.E. values (compassion, adaptability, respect, and empowerment).
- Receive ongoing coaching and performance feedback.
- Be recognized for personal and team contributions and demonstration of C.A.R.E. values.
