About The Position
Direct Support Professional (DSP) employees work with people who experience developmental disabilities as they live in their homes and communities. This position assists people in their daily life, working with them and their connections to ensure that they can live fully in the community. Direct Support Professionals recognize people's rights to direct their life, understanding that each person has unique gifts and needs, and they support people to learn skills for their own growth and development.
Requirements
- SSW, Recreational therapist, DSW or CYW Diploma
- Experience with Behaviour support plans. (BSP)
- Current/Valid G license and able to drive.
- Computer Skills: Windows, Word, Excel, Email, etc.
- Full G License required

Responsibilities
- Assists people in their daily life.
- Works with people and their connections to ensure they can live fully in the community.

- Builds rapport and has a professional working relationship with the police, fire support, EMS and hospitals.
- Works across multiple sites all over the Greater Sudbury Area.
