About The Position
We are looking for a motivated and dependable Direct Support Professional (DSP) to join us in an exciting new retail setting. This role supports an individual in a small specialty shop environment while helping build independence, job skills, and community involvement.
Requirements
- Must be a licensed driver for RRHSF and have a reliable, insured vehicle
- Comfortable driving and transporting individuals
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Punctual and dependable
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Passion for helping individuals reach their goals and be active in the community
Responsibilities
- Provide direct support in a retail/storefront setting
- Assist with daily tasks, organization, and customer interactions
- Support development of social and vocational skills
- Transport the person supported to and from the job and within the community
- Maintain accurate records and documentation
- Encourage independence while ensuring a safe and positive environment
