About The Position

As a Direct Support Professional (DSP), you support individuals with developmental disabilities. You empower individuals to reach their full potential. We are looking for full-time, part-time, and as-needed (PRN) team members. To do this job well, an individual must be able to do each key duty well. We may make reasonable accommodations to help disabled persons perform their essential functions.

Requirements

• At least a high school diploma or GED.
• No experience necessary.
• Ability to compose emails.
• Ability to use various programs, including Brittco and ADP, to do job duties.
• Valid Driver’s License with five or fewer points.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Wholehearted gift of compassion, patience, and empathy.

Nice To Haves

• CPR and First Aid Certification, which we will provide.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with daily living activities.
• Respect individual rights and confidentiality.
• Follow the Individual Service Plan.
• Use electronic software to complete documentation.
• Take clients to complete fun activities in the community.
• Help clients with a clean and safe living environment.
• Use effective communication with team members and family members of individuals.
• Protect the health and safety of the individual and others.
• Attend all paid training and team meetings.
