About The Position
This participant is an SU student studying Sports Management. They are hoping to find a DSP that will support him in his studies and his college experience. The DSP will transport him to and from school, support him in the classroom, and help him stay organized for school. DSP will also support the participant in attending clubs and extracurricular activities they are interested in. The participant’s hobbies are basketball and football, and he loves SU and the Buffalo Bills. Preferred candidates will have an academic background or have been to college, and are familiar with academic tools such as Blackboard and MySlice.
Requirements
- Must have a valid drivers license
- Effective communication and organizational skills required.
- Flexibility with assignments and schedule required.
- Reliable transportation to arrive to job site at scheduled time.
- Experience working with people with Developmental Disabilities preferred.
- Must have technology available to download multiple apps for use in the community and abide by ARISE/EFR'S technology policy.
