Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED OR HHA/CNA certification (certifications can be expired) and or 2 years of related experience in leu of High School Diploma.
• Valid NYS driver's license for at least 2 years

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience working with individuals with disabilities or in a caregiving role.
• Certification in CPR and First Aid.
• Training in behavior management techniques or related fields.
• Familiarity with electronic documentation systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized support to individuals with developmental disabilities (IDD) in residential settings and the community.
• Assist with daily living activities, including personal care, medication administration, and household chores.
• Facilitate leisure activities, social outings, and community involvement.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of individuals in your care.
• Transport individuals to appointments, activities, and outings.
