About The Position

Mosaic is seeking Direct Support Professionals to support and guide people as they learn and develop daily living skills and life activities, with the goal of helping them live as independently as possible. The role involves fostering an environment where people can learn, grow, and discover; helping them pursue goals that matter to them; and supporting their safety, comfort, and personal needs. DSPs also provide emotional support and assist with general housekeeping, meal preparation, and laundry. No prior experience is needed; thorough training is provided.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Valid U.S. driver's license required where applicable.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Passion for helping others and making a positive difference in people's lives.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Strong time-management skills and ability to manage multiple responsibilities and communicate honestly about timelines, challenges, and questions.
Punctuality and a commitment to exceeding expectations.
Ability to work inclusively and treat people as individuals.
Physical ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods; occasionally sit, kneel, climb, stoop, crouch, squat, and balance; reach constantly between knee and shoulder level and frequently below the knee and overhead; occasionally lift up to 25 pounds independently; frequently push or pull up to 40 pounds of force; and safely transfer 50 pounds.
