About The Position

A 24-year-old male in the Camillus area is looking for a Direct Support Professional to assist him with money management, being active in his community, working on safety in the community, and help with choosing activities to his liking. The individual enjoys spending time with family, going to baseball and hockey games with friends and family, attending concerts, listening to 80's music, watching cooking shows, playing video games on his phone, visiting and playing board games with friends, and attending dances. The ideal candidate should be creative, engaging, active, and patient, and willing to travel to different locations. The role requires the candidate to be very active and willing to go on long walks at various community locations such as the Erie Canal, Marcellus Park, and Camillus Park. The individual also enjoys swimming and walking the track at the YMCA, attending the State Fair, and going to the Nationals. This is a part-time position, but additional hours are available with other people receiving services at the agency.

Requirements

Valid driver's license
