About The Position

Sevita is seeking a compassionate Direct Support Professional to help people grow, learn, and live well. The role involves building meaningful relationships with participants, supporting their personal hygiene and developmental goals, and helping them participate in community life and enjoy their favorite activities. Developmental support may include budgeting, exercise, and nutrition. The position also supports individuals who may have behavioral challenges and other complex needs. This is a full-time evening position.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license.
• Access to a registered vehicle and proof of insurance.
• Communication, adaptability, multitasking, teamwork, and time-management skills.
• Patient, compassionate, reliable, and responsible behavior.

Nice To Haves

• Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build real, meaningful relationships with the individuals served.
• Support participants with personal hygiene.
• Help participants work toward developmental goals, including budgeting, exercise, and nutrition.
• Help participants take part in the community and enjoy their favorite activities.
• Support individuals with behavioral challenges and other complex needs.
