About The Position

Indera is seeking a creative, compassionate Mentor (Direct Support Professional/1:1 support staff) to work with a young woman with a developmental disability in Sherburne, NY. The role supports her independence and quality of life by helping her learn independent living and communication skills, interact with others, and participate in social, recreational, and physical fitness opportunities in the community. The position requires attention to detail when electronically recording daily time, mileage, and service documentation. A valid email address is required. The schedule is flexible, with work possible any day of the week and hours that can be made specific. Pay is $30.00 per hour when providing direct support.

Requirements

• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Effective communication and organizational skills.
• Flexibility with assignments and schedule.
• Reliable transportation to arrive at the job site on time.
• Must have a valid email address.
• Must have technology available to download multiple apps for use in the community and abide by Indera's technology policy.
• Attention to detail, especially when completing electronic time, mileage, and service documentation.
