We are looking for a caring and reliable Direct Support Professional (DSP) to join our Day Program team, where you will support adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities and help them build independence, engage in the community, and enjoy meaningful daily activities. Help adults with disabilities with daily needs such as eating, grooming, using the restroom, and moving safely throughout the program. Teach and support skills like communication, social interaction, and daily living by modeling positive behaviors, encouraging participation, and guiding individuals through everyday tasks. Lead and join group and one-on-one activities—such as arts and crafts, games, music, exercise, and life-skills lessons—to promote learning, confidence, and fun. Support participants during community outings, volunteer opportunities, and recreational activities. Drive the company van to safely transport participants to outings like bowling, parks, museums, and other community events. Keep participants safe by following all health, behavior, and emergency procedures. Accurately document daily activities, progress, and any incidents. Attend required trainings and ongoing professional development to maintain skills and certifications. Follow all program policies, state regulations, and ethical standards.
