About The Position
Merakey is seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to join their team. This role involves creating long-term impacts on individuals' lives by encouraging, mentoring, and coaching them to achieve their goals. The DSP will foster pride in individuals by teaching them daily living activities such as housekeeping and laundry. Work is performed under the supervision of a House Manager, with responsibilities including assisting with daily and personal activities to enhance independence.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license.
- Must have a desire to help others reach their fullest potential.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in a home health aide setting, or school setting working with people who have Intellectual and Developmental disabilities is preferred.
- High School diploma/G.E.D. is preferred.
Responsibilities
