About The Position
LIFE, Inc. is seeking Direct Support Professionals to provide essential assistance to clients in Edenton, NC. This role involves supporting individuals with their daily living activities, including self-care, meal preparation, housekeeping, and medication administration. You will also facilitate their participation in community and program activities, ensuring their well-being and independence. This is a part-time position with opportunities across all three shifts.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- NC Driver's License.
- Must be at least 21 years old.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct support to clients with self-care, meals, and housekeeping.
- Administer medications to clients as prescribed.
- Facilitate client participation in community and program activities.
- Assist clients with daily living tasks.
- Implement behavior programs.
- Monitor client medication.
- Transport clients.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
