About The Position

Direct Support Professional (DSP) – First Resources Corp. Residential Services Location: Albia, IA Employment Type: Part-time Schedule: Will vary based on client needs. Monday-Friday. Make a Difference Every Day At First Resources Corp. , we're looking for compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to join our Hourly Services team. In this role, you'll support individuals in achieving greater independence and fulfillment by helping with daily living skills, emotional well-being, and community involvement.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and proof of auto insurance
• Flexibility to work varied shifts and fill in as needed
• Satisfactory results on a background check

Responsibilities

• Support clients with daily activities such as grocery shopping, errands, hygiene, and medication administration
• Assist with mobility needs, including two-person transfers and use of a Hoyer lift
• Help clients achieve personal goals like cooking, cleaning, and social integration
• Transport clients to appointments and community events
• Follow and document progress on Person Centered Service Plans (PCSPs)
• Communicate regularly with supervisors and team members
