About The Position

Endeavor HCBS is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide 1:1 care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities. The role involves assisting with daily living activities, offering companionship, supporting life skills development, and encouraging community participation. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy caregiving, mentoring, and making a positive impact on someone's daily life. No prior experience in the field is required, as paid training is provided.

Requirements

• Reliable transportation
• Ability to pass background check & obtain Fingerprint Clearance Card
• Willingness to complete paid training
• Compassionate, patient, and dependable

Nice To Haves

• Experience as a caregiver, babysitter, nanny, companion, home health aide, or mentor
• Experience caring for others
• Interest in special needs, autism, or developmental disabilities
• Passion for helping others and building relationships

Responsibilities

• Provide 1-on-1 support in a home or community setting
• Assist with daily living activities (routine, hygiene, meals, etc.)
• Offer companionship and emotional support
• Help individuals build life skills and independence
• Support participation in community activities
• Act as a mentor and positive role model
