About The Position

We are currently seeking a female DSP who is kind, compassionate, and has experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities. Those with intellectual disabilities may struggle to recognize and/or express their needs and emotions, causing them to become agitated. Requirements

Must have reliable transportation
2 years' Experience with disabilities preferred
Must have a current Tuberculosis (PPD) Test 2-Step Skin Injection/Chest X-ray/Quantiferon Blood Work)

Responsibilities

Supervise and assist client in safely preparing meals and ensuring proper nutrition.
Assist with all ADLs, including bathing, dressing, toileting (incontinence care), brushing teeth etc.
Interact and engage with client as much as he will allow
Make frequent checks to ensure safety
Assist with light housekeeping
Help client identify and achieve various goals
