IDD Group Home -Direct Support Professional ( PT 0.6 Variable Shifts Including Weekends)
About The Position
Legacy Behavioral Health is seeking a Direct Support Professional to join their Lowndes team. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting individuals and families throughout South Georgia with compassionate, high-quality behavioral health services. Under supervision, Direct Support Professionals will provide training and support services to people with developmental disabilities in a 24/7 community residential program. Legacy Behavioral Health is a leading provider of mental health and substance use services across 10 counties in South Georgia. Their mission is rooted in transforming lives through compassionate, individualized care.
Requirements
- High school diploma/GED
- Valid GA driver’s license with less than 5 points
- CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain CPR Certification
- Proficiency in computer skills
Responsibilities
- Delivering skills training in daily living and community integration as outlined by the Individual Service Plan
- Maintaining a clean and sanitary home environment to meet CARF safety regulations
- Assisting in coordinating transportation for persons served
- Monitoring and documenting persons served progress in treatment
