This role involves providing essential support to consumers in their homes, ensuring their health, safety, and comfort. The Direct Support Professional will participate in Individual Service Plan (ISP) meetings, perform tasks according to the ISP, and maintain a clean and safe living environment. Responsibilities include basic personal care, homemaking tasks, accompanying consumers to appointments, and reporting any changes in the consumer's condition or environment. Flexibility in scheduling is required, including potential work past scheduled shifts in emergencies. Client confidentiality must be maintained in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
