About The Position

This is a part-time Direct Support Professional position located in Russellville, AR, with shifts on Saturdays and Sundays from Noon to 8 PM. The role involves providing quality care, direction, guidance, and assistance to customers with their daily activities. This includes personal care, meal planning, transportation, and community integration. The position requires diligent observation of customer condition and environment for safety, as well as maintaining accurate written daily updates via an online platform. All employees must understand and endorse ICM's mission and vision, adhere to company policies and HIPAA regulations, maintain a clean work environment, possess a high school diploma or equivalent, and ensure prompt attendance.

Responsibilities

• Providing quality care, direction, guidance, and help to customers with daily activities, such as bathing and bathroom functions, feeding, planning menus, dressing, grooming, taking medication and/or administering treatments, and housework.
• Help customers make and keep appointments, provide or arrange transportation to run errands and serve as a companion.
• Help customer achieve agreed-upon goals to improve quality of life and integration into the community.
• Provide written daily updates of each shift’s activities using an online platform.
• Observe the customer’s condition and monitor the surroundings to ensure customer safety and success. This includes monitoring of equipment and materials.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
