About The Position
At Devereux as a Direct Support Professional you will have the opportunity to work with children ages 8-21 with IDD/BH/MH diagnoses and will impact the individuals you are working with by unlocking their full potential on a daily basis. Every day as a Direct Support Professional you will… Ensuring individuals are healthy, and living in a clean environment. Assist with ADL's Maintain a safe and therapeutic treatment environment that meets the physical, emotional, and personal needs of program clients, while improving functioning and minimizing interfering behaviors. Participating in the planning, implementation, and documentation of programs designed to meet the social, emotional, physical, and personal needs of the individuals. Provide accurate documentation to include shift reports, incident reports, and individual progress notes. Coordinating group outings and activities for individuals. Requirements
- High School Diploma Required
- Education Evaluation required if education was acquired outside the U.S.
- Some experience in behavioral health preferred.
