Direct Support Professionals provide support and supervision to individuals who have developmental, mental health, or physical disabilities. This role is rewarding as it allows professionals to get to know new people, create relationships, participate in new experiences, and have fun while at work, knowing they made a difference each day. The position involves establishing and maintaining community relationships, assisting individuals with daily routines (household tasks, cooking, self-care, socializing, leisure, health, safety, money management, behavior management), administering medications, providing transportation, and documenting services through an online computer program.
