About The Position
As a Direct Support Professional with PAI in Oakdale, you will make a real impact on the lives of individuals in our community. PAI offers a Day Program that provides life skills enrichment, vocational training and meaningful social connections for our participants living with disabilities. For over 30 years, PAI has helped individuals with disabilities live with purpose, dignity and joy.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years old with HS diploma or GED.
- A caring and empathetic nature is key.
- Should be a great listener, patient, and ready to lend a helping hand whenever needed.
- Positive attitude and a genuine passion for making a difference in the lives of others.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in direct care is a bonus.
Responsibilities
- Greet participants each morning, setting the tone for a day filled with exciting activities and meaningful interactions.
- Engage participants in a variety of fun and enriching experiences such as music therapy, arts and crafts, cooking lessons, and community outings.
- Assist with personal care routines.
- Provide care and compassion to participants.
