About The Position
ARISE is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide Respite services to a woman in her late 30’s in Fulton, NY. The individual is looking for a dedicated staff to provide her with support and assist her with maintaining her independence both at home and in community settings while her family receives a well-deserved respite. DSP should feel comfortable participating in physical activities, trying new experiences, and helping her explore activities of her interest. Applicants must be comfortable working around dogs and cats. A love for Karaoke is a plus!
Requirements
- Reliable transportation
- Valid NYS driver’s license
- HS diploma/GED
- Effective communication and organizational skills
- Flexibility with assignments and schedule
- Reliable transportation to arrive to job site at scheduled time
- Must have technology available to download multiple apps for use in the community and abide by ARISE/EFR'S technology policy
