About The Position
Join Envision Unlimited as a Direct Support Professional (DSP) and empower individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to live life to the fullest. This part-time role is located in South Side Chicago and offers a base pay of $22.61/hr with an additional $2.00/hr pay differential for weekend shifts. You will support individuals with daily living tasks, assist with transportation to appointments and programs, help with medications, and provide coaching and mentorship.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- A big heart and lots of patience
- Valid driver’s license + reliable transportation
- Ability to pass a background check
Responsibilities
- Support daily living tasks (cooking, cleaning, self-care)
- Help members get to appointments and day programs
- Assist with medications
- Coach through tough moments and celebrate big wins
- Be a friend, mentor, and role model
