About The Position

Chimes is hiring a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to support individuals with intellectual and behavioral challenges in living with dignity, independence, and confidence. The role provides hands-on assistance with personal care and daily living skills, follows individualized care plans, documents progress, administers medication according to policy, and uses approved behavior support techniques. DSPs also help maintain a safe, clean, supportive environment and encourage community engagement. Some roles require travel and support between Residential and Day programs. The listed schedule is Thursday through Saturday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., and the pay rate is $20.25 per hour.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to lift, push, or pull 50 or more pounds.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license.
• Meet one of the following driving record requirements: at least 3 years of unsuspended driving history with no more than 3 points, or at least 2 years of unsuspended driving history with a clean driving record.

• Experience in disability services is preferred but not required; training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on support with kindness and respect.
• Assist with personal care, including dressing, toileting, hygiene, feeding, bathing, and other daily living skills.
