About The Position
BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking Special Needs Caregivers / DSPs to join their team in Montgomery and Bucks County, PA. As a Direct Support Professional, you will work one-on-one in home and community settings as a companion, mentor, and advocate for individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities, helping them reach their full potential. The role offers part-time opportunities with flexible scheduling across various shifts and locations throughout Montgomery and Bucks Counties.
Requirements
- One or more years of experience working with intellectual and development disabilities (autism, down syndrome)
- High school diploma or equivalent (18+)
- Ability to transport clients to community outings
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance (dressing, grooming)
- Accompany clients on errands and appointments
- Spend time on the client’s favorite hobbies and activities
- Assist with everyday tasks, such as meal preparation
- Participate in community integration activities
