About The Position

Indera (previously known as Arise/EFR) is seeking a female Direct Support Professional (DSP) to work in the Eastwood area with an adult male, who lives independently. He is seeking 1:1 staff and he has a developmental disability. He would like support developing a routine of social, recreational, and independence based activities throughout the week. He would like to connect with others, explore memberships, hobbies, and receive assistance to manage his services. The DSP may be required to attend medical appointments with him, grocery shop, access the gym, and research activities on the Indera Recreation Facebook page to connect with others and make friends. The individual is looking for a dedicated person to remain long term. He can offer 25-30 hours at a payrate of $25/hour. Hiring for the following shifts with flexibility: Monday through Friday 9 or 10 AM-3 or 4 PM. Additional hours are available with the agency. Benefits, Paid Time Off, and health insurance is available through the agency for full-time employees. This individual is in his 50’s, has a sarcastic sense of humor, and needs consistency. He is easy going and friendly. Reliable transportation and a high school diploma/GED are required. Background check, fingerprinting and DMV record check will be conducted prior to hire by the non-profit agency. Individual willing to consider different schedule/shifts for the right applicant. Requirements

Must have a valid driver's license.
Effective communication and organizational skills required.
Flexibility with assignments and schedule required.
Reliable transportation to arrive to job site at scheduled time.
Must have technology available to download multiple apps for use in the community and abide by ARISE/EFR'S technology policy.
High school diploma/GED required.
