About The Position

REM Community Services, a part of the Sevita family, provides community-based services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The position offers a wage of $19.14 per hour and has specific working hours: Monday and Tuesday from 3pm to 9pm, Thursday from 2pm to 9pm, and every other weekend from 8am to 9pm. The role involves helping people grow, learn, and live well, developing meaningful relationships, experiencing ownership and trust, taking initiative to help participants engage with the community and enjoy activities, and supporting participants with developmental goals like budgeting, exercise, and nutrition. Responsibilities also include assisting with personal hygiene and supporting individuals with behavioral challenges and other complex needs. The ideal candidate is compassionate, patient, and finds meaning in this type of work.

• Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred
