About The Position
Merakey is seeking mission-driven, compassionate, and reliable individuals to join our team as Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) in Pittsburgh, PA. This role is ideal for those with experience as a Caregiver, Direct Care Worker, or Home Health Aide, as well as individuals looking to start a meaningful career in human services. No prior experience is required as Merakey provides paid training. As a DSP, you will work alongside a passionate team to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, helping them build independence, develop social and communication skills, and navigate daily living activities such as personal care, housekeeping, and community engagement. You will be a mentor, coach, and advocate, making a difference in the lives of others by assisting with activities of daily living, personal care, hygiene, mobility, meal preparation, life skills development, household tasks, social skills, community support, and transportation. You will also promote health, safety, and well-being, including medication support (as trained), and complete required documentation, progress notes, and service logs.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age.
- Must have a Valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities
