About The Position

This is a part-time position for a Direct Support Professional in Jacksonville, AR. The role involves providing quality care, direction, guidance, and help to customers with daily activities such as bathing, feeding, dressing, grooming, medication management, and housework. The professional will also assist customers in making and keeping appointments, provide transportation for errands, and serve as a companion. A key aspect of the role is helping customers achieve agreed-upon goals to improve their quality of life and community integration. Daily written updates of shift activities are required using an online platform. The professional must also observe the customer's condition and surroundings to ensure safety, including monitoring equipment and materials. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Understands and endorses ICM’s mission and vision.
• Follows all ICM policies, procedures and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and asks for clarification and explanation when needed.
• Understands and complies with all HIPAA regulations.
• Maintains a clean and orderly work environment.

Responsibilities

• Providing quality care, direction, guidance, and help to customers with daily activities, such as bathing and bathroom functions, feeding, planning menus, dressing, grooming, taking medication and/or administering treatments, and housework.
• Help customers make and keep appointments, provide or arrange transportation to run errands and serve as a companion.
• Help customer achieve agreed-upon goals to improve quality of life and integration into the community.
• Provide written daily updates of each shift’s activities using an online platform.
• Observe the customer’s condition and monitor the surroundings to ensure customer safety and success. This includes monitoring of equipment and materials.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
