About The Position
Indera (formerly ARISE/EFR) is seeking a Direct Support Professional to work in the Syracuse area, with a 30-year-old man. He is looking for a dedicated individual to provide him with comfort and support while in the community and at home. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, transporting him out to the community, helping him be comfortable, and helping him be safe.
Requirements
- Must have a valid drivers license
- Effective communication and organizational skills required.
- Flexibility with assignments and schedule required.
- Reliable transportation to arrive to job site at scheduled time.
- Must have technology available to download multiple apps for use in the community and abide by ARISE/EFR'S technology policy.
Nice To Haves
- Experience working with people with Developmental Disabilities preferred.
- is not afraid of a wheelchair.
