About The Position

Merakey is seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to join their team in Hummelstown, Hershey, or Harrisburg, PA. This role is ideal for individuals with a strong desire to create long-term impacts on individuals' lives, enjoying encouraging, mentoring, and coaching others to achieve their goals. DSPs will spend their days in various settings, making memories with individuals by following their Individual Support Plan. Activities may include going to the park, working on social and communication skills, fostering pride and independence by teaching daily living activities like personal care, housekeeping, and laundry, and assisting with daily and personal activities to enhance independence.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Must possess a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

Encouraging, mentoring, and coaching individuals to achieve their goals.
