About The Position

Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) provide hands-on support to individuals in our programs, helping them work toward their personal goals through active treatment and meaningful daily activities. DSPs who work in the Day Program support individuals in engaging with their communities through employment, volunteer opportunities, social interaction, daily living skills, and recreational activities. The schedule is typically Monday-Friday between the hours of 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM.

Requirements

Knowledge and skill equivalent to the completion of a high school diploma.
Will obtain and maintain the required certifications, including becoming a medication technician, CPR and First Aid certification, Therapeutic Response Certification, a valid ND Driver’s License and DD certification as necessary for the position.

Responsibilities

Provide hands-on support to individuals in our programs, helping them work toward their personal goals through active treatment and meaningful daily activities.
Support individuals in engaging with their communities through employment, volunteer opportunities, social interaction, daily living skills, and recreational activities.
Ensure fulfillment of all contracts.
Maintain a safe and hazard-free environment, including proper maintenance of all equipment.
Ensure proper cleanliness, following and reporting hazards, and following all safety procedures, including enforcement of use of protective equipment.
Ensure that the quality of all production/produce work is established and maintained at a high standard.
Conceive and create new products that can be built or assembled by the individuals we serve for retail or wholesale delivery.
Train people in services on all aspects of contract work to facilitate in the development of their skills.
