Requirements
- A High School diploma or GED equivalent.
- At least 18 years old.
- Relevant experience working with Individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities, behavioral challenges, dual diagnoses, or forensic involvement.
- A current driver’s license and California automobile insurance coverage for driving a personal vehicle.
- Must be 21 years of age if a company vehicle is available for use.
- Ability to read, write and speak English.

- Related experience in fields such as Assisted Living, Behavior Aide, Caregiver, Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), Developmentally Disabled (DD), Job Coach, Direct Support Professional (DSP), Child Care, Elderly Care, Senior Care, Hospice Care, ILS, LVN, Autism, Special Education, Special Needs, ILS, SLS, Housekeeper, Driver, Cleaner, Home Health Aides (HHAs), Residential Care Facility Staff, In-home support, Med Tech, Personal Care Attendant, Day Program Staff or Adult Day Program.
Responsibilities
- Assist Individuals with their personal needs, such as hygiene (baths/showers, changing clothes/adult briefs, teeth brushing) and medication reminders.
- Assist Individuals with social needs, including preparing meals, cleaning, and engaging in activities like exercise/movement and games.
- Transport Individuals to community activities using a personal or company vehicle.
- Keep accurate progress notes.
- Proactively communicate information with the team about the Individuals’ needs.
- Participate in all required training, team, and company meetings.
- Take ownership of personal behaviors and help coach others in demonstrating company C.A.R.E. values (compassion, adaptability, respect, and empowerment).
- Receive ongoing coaching and performance feedback.
- Be recognized for personal and team contributions and for demonstrating C.A.R.E. values.
