About The Position

Covenant Case Management Services (CCMS) is dedicated to providing exceptional care for individuals with intellectual disabilities. Our mission is to create a supportive and safe environment where clients can Thrive with Purpose and receive the quality care they deserve. We are seeking a compassionate Direct Support Professional (DSP) to join our team in Albemarle, NC (ZIP 28001). In this role (up to 30 hours per week), you will provide both Community Living Support (CLS) and Respite services, helping our client build independence at home, in the community, and in the workplace.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (Required).
• Valid North Carolina driver’s license, reliable transportation, and active auto insurance (Required).
• Ability to pass a background check.

Nice To Haves

• Minimum of 1 year of caregiving or job coaching experience (Preferred).

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities, personal goals, and community participation (CLS).
• Provide PRN respite support as needed to promote balance and care.
• Collaborate with clients and their families to understand specific needs and preferences.
• Maintain communication with supervisors and team members regarding client care and progress.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines.
