This position is for a Full Time Direct Support Professional (DSP) at AID of Indiana, a locally owned and operated company committed to providing excellent care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Requirements

G.E.D. or High School Diploma
Drivers License
Social Security Card
Birth Certificate/Passport
County Background Check

Reliable
Can work independently
Ability to lift a minimum of 50lbs
Willing to help individuals with ADLs (bathing, dressing, and other hygiene tasks)

Responsibilities

Work with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in their homes
Assist with house cleaning
Prep meals
Go out into the community for activities
Teach life skills
Follow treatment plans
Promote self-advocacy
Help individuals with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, and other hygiene tasks
Transport a client or go with them to an activity in the community
