We are currently seeking Direct Support Professionals to work in our Westchester County, NY Locations. Direct Support Professionals (DSP's) provide direct support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD), promoting community integration and inclusion, assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs) including personal care, teaching daily and independent living skills.
Requirements
- Must be able to attend New Employee Orientation for 3 days.
- Must be fully vaccinated (COVID-19).
Nice To Haves
- Valid Driver's License (preferred but not required)
- High School Diploma Preferred for DSP
- No prior experience is required to become a DSP as training will be provided
Responsibilities
- Provide direct support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD).
- Promote community integration and inclusion.
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) including personal care.
- Teach daily and independent living skills.
