About The Position

Self-Direction DSP - Syracuse Area (Job #LB-MB) ARISE/Exceptional Family Resources is seeking a Direct Support Professional to work in the Syracuse area with a young lady who requires assistance due to a developmental delay. The family is looking for a dedicated staff to provide her with support and assist her with maintaining her independence in community settings. Responsibilities include taking to different activities of interest and encouraging general independence. We are looking for an individual who is reliable, patient, energetic and enthusiastic. Prior experience a plus, but not required. Reliable transportation and a HS diploma/GED are required. Background check, fingerprinting and DMV record check will be conducted prior to hire by the non-profit agency. Work hours include Monday through Friday, afternoon/evening.
