About The Position

360 Behavioral Health is hiring Direct Support Professionals to support children, teens, and adults with developmental disabilities. The role focuses on helping clients build happiness, growth, independence, social and self-help skills, and greater involvement in their communities. Positions begin part-time, with a minimum commitment of 15–20 hours per week; full-time hours may become available depending on center needs and the employee’s availability. Pay is $19.00–$20.50 per hour based on experience and education, with an additional incentive of $0.50 to $2 per hour applicable to certain cases. The organization provides paid training, career pathways, mileage and phone expense reimbursement, and a schedule intended to support work-life balance.

The position serves clients in Van Nuys, Granada Hills, Reseda, Northridge, Chatsworth, Canoga Park, Tujunga, Sylmar, and Pacoima. The employer aims to match employees with clients near their homes and reimburses mileage when a client is more than 20 miles away. Desired availability includes Monday through Friday from 2:00 p.m. to midnight, as well as weekend availability during specified daytime or evening hours. Some weekday morning availability is needed for two to three weeks of training.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Help clients with daily activities at home and in the community.
• Teach and guide clients in developing social, self-help, and independence skills.
• Support clients’ progress, follow behavior plans, and help them navigate challenges with patience and care.
• Create opportunities for client safety, independence, and community involvement.
• Track client progress, share achievements, and keep families connected.
• Show up for clients and collaborate with the team.
