Direct Support Professional Day Shift (Adult Day Program)
About The Position
Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) are needed for Full-Time, Part-time, and Per Diem Positions. Bancroft has been dedicated to making a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals with disabilities for over 125 years. Bancroft supports people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and neurological challenges, helping them achieve fulfilling lives while improving their independence, daily functioning, and participation in the community. Requirements
- Are 18 years of age or older
- Possess a high school diploma or GED
- Work well in teams and are open to learning new skills
- Have the ability and willingness to work weekends
- Have experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities and/or neurological disabilities
- Have strong verbal and written communication skills
Responsibilities
- Assist individuals with their daily living skills
- Actively participates in the life growth of each individual
- Promote independence through skill development and implementing individualized plans of care
- Advocate for community inclusion by planning activities and outings
- Support the Bancroft Mission, Vision and Core Values
