About The Position

At ViaQuest, our Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) provide essential, hands-on support to individuals with developmental disabilities, helping them live safe, independent, and fulfilling lives. We provide paid training to set you up for success.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older
• High school diploma or GED
• Valid driver’s license, insurance, and reliable personal vehicle
• Ability to meet authorized driver criteria
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks (walking, bending, lifting, etc.)

Nice To Haves

• No prior experience (we train you!)
• Starting a career in healthcare or social services
• Nursing assistants or those interested in becoming an STNA

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and daily support to individuals with developmental disabilities
• Assist with personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks
• Support individuals in building independence, life skills, and confidence
• Ensure health, safety, and well-being at all times
• Transport individuals to activities, appointments, and community outings
