Direct Support Professional: Provides support for individuals and/or groups of persons with disabilities in the community. Assists the person(s) receiving services in identifying and communicating his or her requests and needs for services and supports. Here is a link for the job description in American Sign Language, ASL: https://pahrtners.com/careers/residential-support-coach-adult/ We are offering full time and part-time shifts with MULTIPLE AVAILABLE SCHEDULES In MULTIPLE LOCATIONS including, Glenside, PA, Horsham, PA, Abington, PA, and Wyndmoor, PA. Pay Rate: $18.00/hour Base pay set by facility. Based on education and experience. Bonus: $1,000 Sign On once criteria are met! Bonus is for full time employees and paid out according to training schedule. Schedule: Shifts and schedules may vary by location and typically a variety of shifts are available. Shifts cover all days of the week, Monday through Sunday.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or G.E.D.
• At least 18 years of age
• Valid drivers’ license
• Mid to fluent level in American Sign Language, ASL, skills (preferred)
• Knowledge of Deaf Culture (preferred)
• Lift 25lbs-50lbs vertical from the floor
• Horizontally transfer 25lbs a distance of 25 feed
• Horizontally transfer 50lbs with assistance
• Squat and bend

Nice To Haves

• Mid to fluent level in American Sign Language, ASL, skills
• Knowledge of Deaf Culture

• Assist with data collection and reporting
