Direct Support Professional - Full time Weekdays
About The Position
Connections Services, LLC is seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to work with residents in their group homes located in the Bloomington, MN area. DSPs provide a variety of services to residents, including personal care, teaching and maintaining skills, cooking, meal preparation, feeding assistance, support with hobbies, studies, and social activities, participating in the development of Individual Program Plans, medication administration, and participating in recreational activities. This role is ideal for individuals seeking to make a difference, gain experience in the health care field, or find an entry-level opportunity in Human Services.
Requirements
- 18 years of age or older
- High School diploma (or equivalent)
- Valid US driver's license
- Basic computer skills
- Willingness to do personal cares for residents, including bathing, toileting, dressing, administering medications, and lifts/transfers.
